About the Celtic Cross: The ancient roots of the Celtic Cross were forged in the British Isles ages before the birth of Christianity. The Church, primarily in Ireland, fashioned the symbols into a representation of the new faith beginning in the 10th century. The circle represents eternity, eternal life or the Sun.
